I was here last year and I enjoyed chicken tagine, tea etc. one thing I love that they make here is a date smoothie so I ordered one this morning as well as a cafe au lait and an omelette Berbère. The coffee gets a pass, the date smoothie is outstanding and I have no idea why I don't make these at home but the winner by far was the omelette. It had three eggs and is a little bit like shakshuka. The eggs were dropped in the masala without breaking the yolks and I think perhaps 30 seconds apart as one was cooked hard, one was slightly softer and one was jammy. It's served with a rich green olive oil and salty, smooth black olives. The bread is great for eating family style and this dish could easily be shared. This bread was lighter than most and beautifully toasted for a soft interior.
Overall I love Chez Omar because it's consistent, it's in a central location, it has a pretty patio with evening fairy lights, and it has nice morning sun.
The service is always kind and caring and they don't mind at all my odd mime gestures when I try to communicate in French.

Beautiful place in town for a good tajine! You can choose a table outside under the plants’s shadow and enjoy the food, looking at the people waking in the streets. The staff is really nice and welcoming. Absolutely suggested.

Such a nice venue with a relaxing terrace from which to watch the world pass by. We enjoyed our espresso coffees and their toasted meguez sandwiches. Great value. Place seemed popular with locals and visitors alike.

Restaurants snack Chez omar is the best option you can get if you are in Zagora and you want to have some food, such a goats tajine or fast food,

Delicious food, the service is great and the price is affordable,
Toilette is clean , A/C specially in summer while in Zagora,

I would highly recommend this place,
