We just stopped by while passing through and were pleasantly surprised. It ended up being the best meal we’ve had in days. Great food and very friendly service. Farrah is very nice! Highly recommended!

We had an incredible experience eating here! This was our lunch stop before our desert camp. The food was delicious and affordable for both the quality and quantity! They had both authentic Moroccan food and finger foods such as pizza and paninis—great for picky eaters. The moroccan tea was delicious, served in beautiful glasses. The staff were very welcoming, efficient, kind, and accommodating. Our waiter spoke in English and was able to accommodate my allergy and answered my daughter’s questions about the menu items (and despite her being a picky eater she found something she enjoyed). Overall, we had an amazing experience!

A Taste of Local Flavors at Lune de Desert, Errachidia
5.0

I recently dined at Lune de Desert in Errachidia, and it was a wonderful culinary experience. If you are looking for an authentic spot to enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine in the heart of the city, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it an ideal place to relax after a day of travel. The dishes are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and the flavors are both rich and comforting. Whether you are craving a hearty tagine or a classic Moroccan salad, the quality here is excellent. It is a highly recommended stop for both locals and travelers exploring the region. Areas for improvement: Adding a printed menu in multiple languages (English and French) would be very beneficial for international visitors to better understand the various traditional options available. Furthermore, highlighting a few ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ on the wall or menu could help new guests discover the best of what the kitchen has to offer. Overall, Lune de Desert is a reliable and delicious dining destination in Errachidia that truly captures the local spirit!

Errachidia Roadside Eatery
4.6

Lune du Désert serves as a straightforward dining option for those traveling through Errachidia. Its location is convenient for transit, providing a quick access point for a standard meal without the need to navigate the busier areas of the city center. The restaurant offers a menu grounded in Moroccan staples, presented in a functional dining space that prioritizes efficiency for the steady flow of travelers stopping on their route. You should know that this is a pragmatic dining spot, not a destination for culinary experimentation. The service is geared towards volume and speed, so the atmosphere can become quite lively and loud, especially during peak meal times when regional transport routes are active. Facilities are basic and show the wear expected of a high-traffic roadside establishment. If your priority is a reliable, no-frills place to eat while passing through or waiting for local connections, it fills the role; however, do not expect a quiet, refined ambiance or a menu that deviates from standard regional recipes.
