A highly recommended family-owned restaurant and inn located along the canyon road, just 2 kilometers before the narrow pass of the Todgha Gorges. Operated by Hussein, Hamid, and their family, the establishment offers a remarkably warm and welcoming atmosphere featuring a cozy indoor Moroccan lounge and outdoor panoramic terraces with exceptional views over the river, valley, and red cliffs. Specializing in 100% authentic Moroccan and Berber cuisine, the kitchen serves freshly prepared salads, traditional clay-pot tagines, couscous, and regional Berber pizza, while also offering hands-on cooking classes for travelers seeking an immersive cultural experience.

During my exploration of the Toudgha Gorges, stopping at Restaurant La Petite Gorge was the perfect choice. This restaurant offers a refreshing break in a stunning location, with a menu featuring fresh, traditional Moroccan dishes. The tajines are flavorful and well-prepared, making it an excellent spot for travelers needing a hearty meal after hiking through the canyons. The atmosphere is calm, and the staff is genuinely welcoming, adding to the authentic charm of the Todgha region. Areas for improvement: I would suggest adding more variety to the vegetarian options on the menu to better cater to different dietary needs. Additionally, it would be very helpful to have a small outdoor display or menu board showing the daily specialties to help visitors decide quickly when passing by. Overall, a great, reliable dining spot with beautiful surroundings for anyone visiting the famous Toudgha Gorges!
